Akhaltsikhe Fortress was one of the places we scheduled for a visit. We rarely use highways, so we decided to go through Ajaria mountains.
After leaving Dagestan, we entered Azerbaijan. It is evening and it is quite cold. Drivers and passengers are going to customs control separately.
People prefer travelling in summer… But winter is also very good for travelling to places that are usually overcrowded by tourists.
Overall length of our route was about 8500 kilometers.
