There are lots of wild animals in spring steppes of Kazakhstan. But it is really hard to catch the moment and take a picture. Some animals are too quick, some prefer hiding in darkness (our camera doesn’t like making pictures in darkness). So here in this post we will show you those animals we caught on camera 🙂
The most numerous are ground squirrels (or gophers? do not really know the difference).
My favourite animals of steppes are camels. You can often find large herds near Almaty.
Also you can see horses. I am not sure if these horses are wild or domestic, but there were no herders around.
Sometimes you can find even a turtle!
Beautiful flowers: tulips, poppies and others.
